AeroBreath™ Ventilators

SIMPLE, from “S” to “E”

The goal of The AeroBreath™ Project is to deploy a SIMPLE low-cost, fast-build ventilator, with easily sourced materials, to make a significant impact, right now, in the fight against COVID-19. In U.S. hospitals equipped with negative pressure ICUs, this ventilator will be used for recovery in order to free up the complex, high-tech ventilators to be used for critical patients still battling the virus. In more rural or low-resource areas of the world, without access to negative pressure ICUs, this ventilator can be used for patients throughout every stage of fighting the virus, helping them maintain strength and necessary levels of oxygen to stop or stall advancement of symptoms.

The AeroBreath™ ventilator can be delivered with or without a motor. Without a motor (S Lane), the AeroBreath™ is operated by hand crank by the patient or a caregiver. When manually ventilating for an extended period of time, hand cranking is easier than squeezing an Ambu bag, like pedaling a bike is easier than working out on a stair-stepper machine. Adding the motor (E Lane) allows for one caregiver to manage several patients at once.

Help us Send an AeroBreath

We are working with our partners to begin offering fully built and tested AeroBreath™ ventilators. Right now, sponsors are critical to help us “prime the production pipe” and help The AeroBreath™ Project fulfill ventilator needs around the world. For every $100 raised through donations, we will Send an AeroBreath™ to the front lines. Each sponsor donating $100 or more will be entitled to reserve one AeroBreath™ for each $100 donated for future purchase, once our production stream is steady. If you are able, please donate to our Send an AeroBreath™ campaign today.

Our first AeroBreath™ ventilators are going to clinical trials in two major U.S. healthcare institutions. From there we will expand to areas most in need around the world. Please help us make this possible. Thank you for your support.
