Donation Terms

Thank you for your support of The AeroBreath™ Project.

All donations to The AeroBreath™ Project are final. Donations will be used for costs associated with manufacturing and delivery of AeroBreath™ ventilators and supplies associated with use of the AeroBreath™ ventilators, such as patient ducting and masks.

Our goal is to deliver meaningful support to those in need. There may be circumstances beyond our control, including social distancing and business interruptions, that may hinder our efforts.

The basic delivery under the Send an AeroBreath™ campaign is an S Lane, manually operated ventilator. We reserve the right to combine donations to send an E Lane motorized AeroBreath™ when available and requested.

$100 may not be sufficient to send an AeroBreath™ Ventilator in cases where associated supplies and PPE are needed for safe and effective use. Masks alone, can cost as much or more than the ventilator itself. We reserve the right to combine donations to send complete kits of an AeroBreath™ Ventilator, patient circuit, mask or endotracheal tube, filters and PPE.

No ventilators can be sent until donations are sufficient to cover the costs of production tooling and start-up. The first two injection molding fixtures are under construction and we aim to deliver test and evaluation units to clinical trials and endpoint organizations as our top priority. Delivery of AeroBreath ventilators within the United States cannot begin until applicable regulatory requirements are met. Some portion of donations will be expended toward the costs of compliance.

We are not able to direct AeroBreath™ ventilators to any specific individual or organization requested by a donor. We will update our Breaths page as shipments are made so you can see where your donation is making a difference.

Stripe, our payment processor, has a spotless security record, and is discounting its fees for this project. We are charged fees by the credit card companies and payment processors when you pay by credit card. If you are able to pay by check, we will receive the full amount of your donation. We will not share your information with any other party and will not contact you unless you select that you wish to receive updates from The AeroBreath™ Project. If you wish to be listed as a sponsor on our website, you will need to opt-in and supply a Sponsor List Name during the donation process.
